Upsidown*Acrobat is a collaboration between Black*Acrobat (Kiebpoli Calnek) and Upsidown Productions (Madeline Hoak). Together, Kiebpoli and Madeline have directed and produced 5 sold out circus shows in New York City. The inaugural event was names for the champagne of circus drinks: Pink Lemonade (2012). Following the trend, future performances were Orange Crush (2013), Mint Julep (2014) and Lemon Drop (2018). Lemon Drop raised funds for thirteen NYC charitable organizations, and benefit show titled Amuse Bouche (2015) raised money for Breaking Ground, a NGO that supports sustainable community life in Cameroon. The shows were produced at prestigious NYC venues including STREB, The Muse Brooklyn, and Cantina Royal. While Kiebpoli toured in LA, Madeline self produced Red Balloon (2016) at The House of Yes, Brooklyn.
